New Building

Temple Sinai completed a renovation of the Temple's main building in 2004. The sanctuary floor was raised to make it level with the social hall, making the sanctuary and bima handicapped-accessible. The bima was also widened. A new office area and multipurpose rooms were added, and the restrooms were relocated and vastly expanded.

The most striking features of the new sanctuary are the skylight, which runs its full length, and the large windows over the ark. Windows along the southern wall of the sanctuary visually open it to the lobby. This was accomplished while preserving the original roofline and interior timbers. The pews have been replaced with comfortable, flexible seating.
